Where is the Heater Fan Resistor Pack??

Just need to know where to look... Fan running only on high and not the other speeds... Likely this is the problem I just need to find it. It is a late 944 with the auto climate controls Aaron | ||

Look under the black plastic cover on the blower fan. You will see a cable attached to an oval shaped piece held in with two screws. - disconnect the cable and remove the screws - voila - one resistor pack. Hint: soak the resistor pack in white vinegar - it removes the corrosion - if the resistor isn't too far gone, it will bring it back from the dead. Resistor pack is a dealer only part - they run about $174. AFJuvat

Gads! $174... A $5 SCR is looking real good.
