Cool 924 Progress!

This weekend was probably my best experience overall with bringing a car back to life. I finall got the rear wiring harness in for the lights, and ... what a suprise! Clean a few connections, run a new harness with clean connections, and whaddaya know, working lights! Also with ken's help i was able to get the headlights to work (well, actually he got them to work, i just retraced the steps he took in the wiring to re-do it).

And another bonus... mine isn't part of the "lazy eyes" club! they go up and stay up, only problem is when i hit the Highbeams only the passenger side comes on (looking at fixing the connectors and new H2 headlights soon).

It's so awesome seeing immediate results on these types of things. Next weekend i'll start replacing the cab (instrument) harness and work my way to the engine compartment and the harness from the starter to the battery to the ignitionswitch and engine and alternator/voltage regulator).

I can't wait!

When was the last time you changed your timing and balance belts and/or cam chain and tensioner?

Hell yes they are!

wiring diagrams are alot easier to read in color, and the manual gives you instructions on how to put things together, not to repair them (my problem before).

So i figure... if i take it all apart and follow the manual, i'll rebuild a 924 :P
