Porsche Crest Putting my 951 back together-some questions?

I am repainting my alpine white 951 and wanted to know how to remove the side windows behind the door windows. I also am curious about what to use to reseal the rear taillights (I removed the black sticky junk that was under them to paint). I am also installing a GT-Racing rear bumper and side skirts. Has anyone glassed the skirts to blend with the body or do you thing that just attaching is a better idea, the problem is the skirt-body interface before and after the door. Any insight, opinions, or comments are appreciated.

You can pop the side windows out from inside the car - just lift up on the lip of the window seal and push. (helps to have someone to catch the glass)

You can use convertional black silicone to reseal the taillight.

3M makes stuff that is like the original for sealing the rear tailights. IIRC it's called window ribbon seal? It comes in a 1/4" thick rope that you apply around the tailight. Any napa or bodyshop supply place should be able to get it for you.

Edit: the 3M part number is 08611 and it's called window-weld ribbon sealer
