951 Project Complete

Well I finally took the turbo out for its first PCA event of the year. She has ~500 miles on her at this point. Overall she is running well except a boost issue that I have to resolve for the next event in 2 weeks.

I am not sure what else to say about the car but it has MANY MANY things done to it. Did I say ? Many ?

Here are the before pics............................

And now......................

Hehehehe

Actually the cars interior is mint that is why I bought it in the first place. I was going to transplant the interior into my NA.

RB101

All the parts on the car are original except for the obvious MANY aftermarket goodies. I rebuilt the entire engine, powdercoated many items, polished the intake powder coated them clear........etc...etc

Well it took my brother-in-law a year to finally paint her for me. The engine rebuild took me 3-6 months. So overall I would say 1.5 years easily.

I have 2 more events before my dyno day in June. I am hoping to at least have 1000 miles before I put her through it. It should be interesting.

The picture doesn't even do that car justice. The car is cosmetically perfect. It looks even better flying past cones at 160KpH!!

Still waiting for the other pics and videos too Alex

Thanks...

Yup they are forgeline........ light/wide/strong (and one of the only aftermarket wheels fitting the early offset)...... came with the car but they are pricey units. They are ~400-500 a wheel.

The car is missing only the front air splitter (that I havent installed) and the exterior is complete.

Sure and I can take you for a spin

I think lordgrommit would be proud if you sold me your sport seats to complete the interior.

uhmmmm you are right its not complete.... 96.7 %

Some leda's and some new monoblock calipers..........uhmmm zehnd sports seats...........and the air splitter I havent installed should complete it.

Oh and I have a 924 turbo hood........ but I want two ducts on it.......maybe next winter I will finish that off..... The engine bay is SOOOOOO HOT NOW... its not even funny. A little more air flow through the engine compartment would be a good thing!
