Red face left click

I hear a click every right turn? It just went through a safety check and they didn't say anything was wrong with the suspension? How is the easiest way to check what's loose/causing it?

Usually a click while turning points toward a wheel bearing, but it really could be a number of things... hell, a loose bolt or lug nut, or even a loose center cap could cause strange sounds. Is it coming from the front? Rear could also point toward CVs...

I'm thinking CVs too. Is it a single click for every turn, or is it more of a TINK TINK TINK throughout the turn?

Are my sound effects accurate?

If it is a single 'click' when first turning, another possibility is that it's the door.
My 944 does this sometimes, but I've never investigated as to why it does it........

If it does come from the door, it's probably the crossbar.

To figure this out, I took off the door panel and simulated the conditions where it clicked. All I did was quickly jerk the wheel and correct, on a rural road w/o traffic, of course. With my other hand, I felt in the door. You can feel the crossbar flex.

To tighten this, it requires a 12-point socket. I have a set of 4...6,8,10,12mm...none of them fit. I ended up nearly stripping one bolt trying to get one socker into it. If it's possible to find an odd cheesehead socket, I guess you could try that. I eventually gave up and let the door click.
