Blinkers not working but hazards work???

Anyone ever come across this situation in early 944?

My blinkers are not blinking, but when I depress the hazard switch, it will work. When i have left or right selected on stalk, the blinker indicator light on the gauge will be solidly lit yet the outside blinkers are not flashing. The relay is working when hazard lights are working. I checked the switch itself, and the operation seems to be fine, making contact and all since the light stays solid when left or right is selected, just no blinking on the outside of the car.

I am not sure what to check out?

You probably still have a bad flasher relay.

Are you testing with the ignition on or off? If it's off, they are doing what they are supposed to.

Hey guys quick responses!!

I also notice with ignition off and i turn the stalk left or right, my parking/indicator light stays on for just that side? Is that euro parking lights?

I have tested with ignition on AND off...

with ignition on, blinker left or right, solid light on gauge, but nothing blinking outside

with ignition off, blinker left or right, parking lights will be solidly on for that respective side

My stalk is allegedly brand new says the PO (my bro). I have removed it/reinstalled it twice and see that its making proper contact. Ordered a relay, lets see how that goes... AGAIN my hazards do work, but individual blinkers do not.
