On a better note. I got the short shift kit from Speedforce and a MOMO knob that it has to be used with. Definately easy to do and I really like the way it sits now. Hopefully I will post how much I like their SC kit in the next few months.

Hey Mike:

Your car has chips because you do what you are supposed to with it, drive it.

I have other methods which in the long run are much worse and totally within our established system. There is the constant worry of criminal prosecution. Then there is another matter that wll arise that I promissed not to divulge unless it is implemented. I am not trying to be some big mystery dude or anything, it is just my little way of saying thanks for the hosing if I have to do it.

How bout them Cardinals??

hey Razorback, you gotta be lovin this last week of ball.

Yeah, I went to the game on Sunday night for Roger's last night...again! Friday was suppose to be his last night then he wanted to pitch on Sunday because it was the last home game of the season...or so we thought. But now we are only 1 1/2 games back and do have a shot but I am not counting on it. We both know what the Astros are capable (and not capable) of. Definitely a roller coaster ride. The real question is why couldn't they have played like this during the regular season. I guess they like to add the drama! The playoffs are still the Cardinal's to lose which is still the better position to be in.

Steve, I
have thouroughly enjoyed reading all 16 pgs of your project. I am very sorry for your troubles with the mentioned "vendor" . I myself had quite a few online conversations with him on this website. My conclusion was (this was over a year ago) that he had a good idea but not really a product at all. I am not trying to bring up bad feelings on your part but if you look through my profile at some of the connversations you may be able to find some additional incriminating evidence. There were some techinical questions that he was unable to answer either w/o an argument or at all so I then dropped any appreciation for his input or the so called product he was "producing". I was, I believe, having these convos at the beginning of the sham. I now wish I had been more outspoken with my mistrust.

I truly hate to see a person such as yourself put in a situation like this. I can tell you are a good person who does not deserve any of this nonsense.

.Just so you know I did finish my supercharger (DIY) install and drove the car over 7K w/o any problems (well any real big ones) until I decided to up the boost and pushed the head gasket. Now with that said would I try to market my setup NO b/c it does require a great knowledge of tuning but I would be willing to help if you have any issues with whatever system you choose.

Here is my system in a nutshell (sorry I havent taken pics after some the initail ones and it is apart now getting port work, new h gasket ,studs and other stuff)

Eaton M90 off a super coupe (t-bird)
Turbo 944 injectors
adjustable BG fpr set at 22psi w/o boost
vortec rrfpr
small intercooler
custom manifold
used the DME adj and fp for fine tuning (I will probably do cust chip using turbo DME eventually)
Total cost under 1K

Really it isnt theat hard and I think you would end up with a greater satisfaction considering what you have done in other areas of the car.

BTW I would invest in a nice EGT meter like computech even if the system you end up with is fully tuned by the DME b/c you may be able to get a better low end and mid range by adjusting FP

Now how did I like it ....it was very fun and yes it was faster but not what I expected so ..more boost...adictive..After pulling it apart I think the head gasket may have already been leaking b/c it was so deteriorated btween cyl plus I always ahd a bit of overheating problem that didn't track through the usual suspects.

So there's some food for thought and please fell free to PM me if you have any questions. After all I have actually drove a supercharged Porsche for a bit and am not trying to sell you ...well let's say a load of crap (repainted, turbo housings, some belt driven gear impeller whatever..)

man I ended staying up late reading/typing this

Well evidently I struck a chord with this x3m944 character because he took to emailing me last night after reading my latest post.

Something about "his designs", and that he is actually a victim in all this. Very strange.

Edit:

I just checked my PM box here and it is full of messages from the guy too. Amazing how even with 2 jobs and all the pressure of the criminal cases, he is finding time to lurk on BBS's and write threatening PM's.

This guy is a crack pot!

A Scarabeo 50. I wound up giving it to my daughter to take to Chicago. She lives downtown and loves it for summer running around.
I am now being lured into the dealership (5 minutes from my house) and probably will be picking up a 250. My daughter has now informed me that she wans a mini. One of my neighbors has a RHD 69 that I could get for around $7500. It's super clean and would be a blast there. Christmas is coming up.

Steve,
I hope you have not mis read my post (or at least read into one part too much) Let me just state to be clear 90% (of the post) genuinely enamored with what you are doing and 10% about the vendor.

I have had a lot of fun with the little blower car. I am sure you will as well when it is done.

FYI just in case you thought my setup was at all related to your vendor in question it is not It is completely home made. (stated only to clear up any possible misinterpretations)

Sometimes relaying ones thoughts through a keyboard is impossible

Agreed, I have have had the same problem trying to convey things. I am currently in Vegas w/ the Wardon. What a weird depraved place. I don't smoke, gamble, or drink excessively. Good thing she made the trip so I have something to do. I rented a Cadillac DTS to get the gear to the room and after putting it in drydock immediately called Alamo and exchanged it for a Crossfire convertible. It's pretty cool, it ain't no Porsche. I am going to try and run by Renegade Hybrids Monday. I initially had intended on sending my car to them for an LS1 and driving it back but the SC thing kind of got in the way. The cars @ The Imperial Palace collection are pretty cool, lots of American and British stuff. A couple really cool old Ferraris and a killer Morgan. Oh well the Wardon has the hot tub full here in our room @ The Luxor and even though I am a dork, that looks like a lot more fun than posting on this forum. She has held together extremely well, especially having been around me all these years. I love my job. I actually get paid to come here and anlyze a few things for a developer. I guess it's true that you are percieved as an expert when you are brought in from somewhere else. Hope nobody figures out I wing about half of what I do. I'm just really lucky to be able to bring my wife and have it be a business expense (at least a lot of it).

I have to wait until I get back home to load them in my other laptop for posting. I went back today and talked to the guy that runs it for almost 2 hours. I got to go behind the scenes so to speak. There is an area normally not available to the public that he took me into. I got fantastic pics of a 924 GTR, a 934RSR, DP 935, probably 8-9 various group B cars, and the best 246 Dino I have ever seen. I was lucky not to blow a load on that one. I'll post them Wednesday. Back to the tub before we go out for dinner and to see Blue Man Group.
