924s doesn't spark
I am getting no spark. If I get absolutely no spark from the coil do I need to replace it or is there a relay or sensor that controls the coil?

Turn the key on and check for voltage at the black wire at the coil. Check from the wire to ground. If there is no voltage then the ignition switch may need to be replaced.
Also check to see if there is voltage at one of the two pins at any injector. If not then the DME relay is suspect.

The injector electrical plugs and the coil wire are hot.

Hot with the key on. Then check the sensor connections and their viability; connections and impedence.
You can buy a special diode to go between the injector and it's connector that will show the injectors firing -- or not. Some can hear them click when the engine is cranked. If the injectors are clicking when the engine is being cranked you should have spark. If no spark then it may be a bad DME. Also check the HV cable between the coil and the dist. This can be pulled out inside the weather boots. To test the coil you can pull the number one spark plug cable out of the dist and stick in into the coil. Stick a plug into the end and ground it. Remove the green wire from the coil. With the key on (power to the coil) use a jumper to momentarially ground the terminal where the green wire was attached. Should have spark.

And be safe when doing anything with holding the HV lead attached to a spark plug. This should go without saying but..
Electricution is no fun, no matter how long it lasts. ![]() You're in good hands. Good luck!

I had the same issue just 2 weeks ago... was the DME amplifier circuit. Tap the Computer and see if you get a start...
