Guess the part! One of the AC switches
Hey guys, not sure which AC switch is, so I figured I'd play a friendly game of ..... Guess this part!

is it the same as this thing?
what you show is shorter i know, but it might be different on the later car... plus, i cant tell if there's any vac lines coming out of the switch in your pic or not.....

it's the low pressure switch.

Correct - if there isn't enough pressure in the lines it'll "lock out" the compressor circuit and prevent it from engaging. If the freon is low, the oil level in the system is also low. This switch prevents you from grenading your compressor trying to run it with inadequate lubrication.
There is a way to bypass it to add freon and oil to the system, simply run +12V to the compressor clutch wire.

all you need to do is bridge the two wires going to the switch.
