DME temp sensors ??

I need to know if I did this test correctly. Using my ohmeter on the blue sensor on the block I connected to terminal 13 at the sensor and on the plug. Tried both posts on the plug and sender and my meter reads .0L. No matter what I connect to no reading at all. Book says to check at the DME plug but I used the plug at the sender.

Did I do this right and have a bad DME temp sensor?

tia!

One to ground the other to the terminal post. Checked each terminal on the plug and the sensor.
