Relay problem?
I have an 87, non turbo 944, I changed the clock yesterday and when I plugged in the cigarette lighter I had a short circuit, fuse was blown, (#11)replaced it blew it again, so I unplugged it, checked the connectors, they seemed to be ok, plugged it again, it didn't blew the fuse (#11), BUT, I don't have lights inside, headlights motor doesn't work, can't open windows, A/C doesn't work, cigarette lighter either, etc, ALL the fuses are ok, I image it must be a relay problem, but wich one? I read somewhere that it could be the X relay, now, wich one is this and where is it located?, I would really appreciate your help with this..., thanks, Carlos

Clean and check ALL the connections at the positive terminal at the battery. Could also be the fuse box buss for battery positive voltage. Is there an aftermarket alarm or a high end stereo system in the car? Could have it's power taken off of the bottom of the fuse/relay box on the same buss.
The items that have failed all come off of the same buss.
