Put big cheese slicers, and paint the bumper black - and you've got a Ferrari Testa Rossa!

I have no idea who makes the front valance for that red 924S. I have a feeling its made by Gemballa though. Someone on the 924Board.org forum had a 944 Gemballa front bumper which he modified to fit his 924. I cant remember who it was or find the site again though.

Mounted it early today. Looks great. Was easier than i expected and would have been even easier if my front valance werent so messed up on the underside.

Fitment is good with the exception of the passenger side corner, but this is likely due to the huge amount of fiberglass repair on the backside.

And if anyone is interested, this is how its mounted. The metal brackets sandwich the lip against the lower lip of the front valance. Its defenetley alot more of a secure fit than i thought it was going to be.

My car barely clears the ramps now. Any lower than it is now and i am going to have to start using more wood to drive up on.

Can anyone believe about 75% of my front valance was painted with Krylon in my driveway.. ?

How fast did you have to go to get the front plate to do that?

Front spoiler lip/rear valence

I posted this in the wrong place (I think) so here it is again.

I have a front spoiler on my '84 which has no name on it. It came undrilled with no fasteners or brackets. I saw it advertised in the local paper during the '89 Porsche Parade in Traverse City Michigan. The seller delivered it to me at the Parade autocross, riding a Porsche tractor. He said he imported a bunch of them but found no market. I think I paid maybe $75. I like the appearance but the 3/4 inch lower lip has been dragged on driveway entrances too many times when I forget it's there. As a consequence, I've painted it three times now. It's a flexible plastic of some kind and I rolled it up and put it in a box to ship home.

The car was a factory delivery in October '83 and the rear valence was installed by Porsche in the Porsche body shop before shipment home. It's made of fiberglass and is as rigid as metal and has a 944 part number on the inside. They held the car until I paid the $450 bill.

The valence was later copied in floppy thin plastic and sold in the Automotion catalog.

I'm sure right now if you could find some of these there is definitely a market for them.

very nice, ive been thinking about making my own out of fiberglass since these are apparently so hard to find, ive done extensive searches for them too. Not on the top of my list though, but eventually I'll get around to it I hope...
