no inst lights or signals - 1 solution
long story short-
the emergency flasher switch has to be connected for your turn signals to work on and 86-944. The dimmer sw has to be connected for the instrument lights to work, dont ask how I know!

Funny you mention this because Tom and i were trying to figure this out last week. Also note the headlight / turn signal stalk must be connected for the headlights to turn on. We are about ready to put the new dash in the car.
