84 is eating O2 sensors
Anybody had their N/A eat O2 sensors every couple months? I have been having a rich mix for a while and have replaced the O2 sensor 3 times now in 5K miles. It is dead again. I have used a stock one and 2 generics from Auto Zone. I have done a few things to the engine but nothing too crazy. I am running MSDS headers and a mini cat. The O2 sensor is in front of the cat in the threaded hole on the header. Any ideas???

It probably isn't the O2 sensor. If it's running rich there is another reason. What diagnosis have you done? The car will run with the sensor disconnected anyway.

I have a quick disconnect and have measured the voltage from the DME @ right @ 4 volts. All of the O2 sensors have been at least outputting voltage in the 4-5 volt range when installed. I have adjusted the A/F to get close then after a couple hundred miles it is rich again and the output voltage from the O2 sensor is essentially 0. If I stick a new one in it again gives me an output. I am at a loss. I also am not the sharpest tool in the shed and am receptive to ideas.
