2 hours then 3 pulls to get clutch fork pivot rod out
So last week I worked for 2 hours trying to remove the darn clutch fork pivot rod so I could pull the bellhousing. I was using my slider hammer with a screw and the darn thing would only come out half way. I was sweeting and saying bad things under my breath. I have never had that much trouble before. I finally left the garage before I went crazy and broke something. Fast forward to last night. I walk in the garage, reinstall the slide hammer, give 3 slaps and the thing just slides out. WTF???
I am soooo glad I took a 4 day breather. Speedy ![]()

I knocked it out from the outside with a drift. I'd hate to have to pull it from underneath. Maybe all your WD40 finally kicked in.
Could have been the chanting and the candles, too.

+1 on the drift and big hammer. I had to pull the engine and pound it out from the other side. Well... that and the stripped reference sensor housing bolt.

Those things are a royal pain to get out. Espcailly if they are the original ones.
