Dude....That sucks... Obviously the connector has come apart and bridged the starter wire (and another) with the always hot supply.... I've seen a diagram of which wire goes to what pin on the socket so you'll need to get that sorted back out. Hopefully what ever it was that caught fire in the engine bay did not cause any collateral damage..... You certainly have your work cut out for you on this one. Hopefully you can get it back together.
