A few dumb reassembly questions-engine into car
I'm putting an '86 engine and bellhousing into an '82 Euro.
Was there a ground strap from the engine to the chassis? I have one in my pile o' parts but not sure where it came from. What is the 13mm bolt on top of the bellhousing for? It is right behind the 10mm bolt that holds a few ground wires on the block. Thanks

There should be a ground strap which goes from the center of the fire wall to around the area where the connector for the speed/reference sensors are located.

Sounds like that's what the 13mm bolt is for, thanks.
