Well, traditionally Porsche used black for +12 and brown for ground.

I have an '87 944S mostly torn down, If you can wait til Monday I will trace the harness back to see where those three wires go.

Porsche Crest Seat Wiring Connections

The date of manufacture of the seat harness may be needed. The schematic for an 85 and later model typical lists these parts listed in bold print.
1. Right Seat connection point - 8 wire connections
Pin 1,3,5,7 Brown wire to ground and seat heating & seat operations
Pin 2 Red wire to seat heating & seat operations Yellow/Black wire to K34 on the fuse board which is fuse #25 -25 Amp - Seat Heating
Pin 4, 6, 8 Red wire to seat heating & seat operations
Pin 8 also has Red/White to J25 fuse #6 - 30 Amp - Seat operation
2. Left Seat connection point - 8 wire connections
Pin 1,3,5,7 Brown wire to ground and each of the 3 - 4-Way switches (seat operations) Pin 1 also feeds ground to the Seat Heater Time Relay, Heating Backrest & Heating Seat.
Pin 2 Red wire to Seat Heating Switch Yellow/Black wire to J13 on the fuse board which is fuse #25 -25 Amp - Seat Heating
Pin 4, 6, 8 Red wire to each of the 3 - 4-Way switches (seat operations)
Pin 8 also has Red/Black to J25 fuse #6 - 30 Amp - Seat operation
3. Heating Seat Switch Yellow & Green wires to Seat Heater Time Relay Red wire to pin 2
4. Seat Heater Time Relay Yellow & Green wires to Heating Seat Switch Red wire to pin 2 - 2 each Brown wires to ground Pin 1 on the seat connection point
5. 3 - 4 way switches
4 way switch 1 Red wire to Seat connection point Pin 4
Brown wire to ground Pin 3 on the seat connection point
Purple/Black & Black/Green to 6. Rear Seat Height Motor
Grey & Black wire to 7. Seat Backrest Motor

4 way switch 2 Red wire to Seat connection point Pin 6
Brown wire to ground Pin 5 on the seat connection point
Purple/Black & Black/Green to 8. Orthopaedic Seat Adjustment Height Motor
Grey & Black wire to 9. Orthopaedic Seat Adjustment Backrest Motor

4 way switch 3 Red wire to Seat connection point Pin 8
Brown wire to ground Pin 7 on the seat connection point
Purple/Black & Black/Green to 10. Front Seat Height Motor
Grey & Black wire to 11. Seat Axial Motor

The above explains the Red & Brown wires. There is no single Back wire listed, only Black/?. The only thing to do would be trace the Black wire and see where/what it connects to at a point on the harness.
