Was my daily driver for last week; as my Mazda had blown head gasket and radiator and at 225000 miles decided to sell it for parts . |
Paige, was that pic taken up at Hawks Nest?
|
If Ive said it once, I've said it a hundred times. Mitsumarks car is the nicest 944 I've ever seen. :)
No offense to everyone else....;) |
Agreed! The car just looks so balanced, not too many add-ons, but just enough to make it stand out - :). What was used for that small front lip spoiler?

The Random 944 Picture Thread
Hey guys! Just thought I'd add my old '84 to the thread. I've been busy for the last couple of years with a muscle car project but still love the 944. It gets exercised every couple of months.

The car is an 88 with about 99k on the clock. I picked the car up in Tampa, and drove it back here to Buckhead a couple of weeks ago. I just cleaned it up, I have about 20 hours into the paint work from Friday-Sat-Sun of last week. When I started the paint was oxidized to the extent that fingernails dragging on the paint sounded like a chalkboard. Trust me the car is far from perfect but it shows well at "10mph or 10 feet" as they say. Here are some more pics: http://andrewcosta.com/portal/node/14/photos/view/flash Have been trying to learn more about this interesting car, my 1st Porsche and 1st fun car to drive in a long time.... |
Well, you've done a great job in "bringing her back" then! SmileWavy
I'll keep an eye out for you. I don't get through Buckhead all that often, but I do drive to Midtown, Monday through Friday, up and down I-75. Hope to see you around out there! :) Randy |

And to kill the thread My Banged up and Riced out 88' 44na
http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1243479116.jpg http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1243479148.jpg http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1243479240.jpg |
not riced out, it looks like it just needs a little work. I like the wheels and tires they fill out the fenders well. I also like the rear wiper delete, I did that to my car this past weekend/
If you want banged up.... I present the 944S BFE (bent fender edition):rolleyes:http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1243479931.jpg yes it has been fixed |
Cool thanks it's just seems like I'm the only one still working on the cosmetics of the car. Every one else's look really good. The wheels are the Victorequipment 18" Lemans setup made just for Porsche's there are my favorite ones and first exterior upgrade. Just wanted to celebrate after fixing the engine, clutch and tranny. Riced out? meaning I think I am the only one on this thread with a light kit and non-oem Porsche rims? maybe I'm wrong.
Thanks |
My old n/a which i wish i never sold!
