tbar install question

i already got the spring plate out. the old tbar is still attached to it....how does it come off?

t-bar out of what? the torsion carrier or the spring plate? There are splines on both ends, you gotta give that sucker a couple of good yanks.

tried regular hammer. even took a punch and tapped a hole on the end of the springplate cap to try to push it out. it won't budge.

it won't even budge with 5lb baby sledge tapping on the punch.

Bigger sledge - alternately pounding on either side of the spring plate barrel while holding on to the t-bar. I've never had one that won't eventually come out.

It's not a delicate operation.
