Oxygen Sensor issues.
I discovered today that the connector for my 02 sensor was broken, the plastic around it was brittle and basically crumbled away.
Is there any way to get a new connector? I checked on my parts car and the connector is also missing from it. I could wire it straight in with out a connector i suppose, but it would constantly be a hassle to do and undo.

Remember that you can not solder the joints as air must travel through the one line. You can buy the BMW 02 sensor as it has longer wires and the correct splices and is cheaper than the Porsche 02 sensor.
Cheers, Larry

missed connections
Hey Truckin:
Any good connector will do. You can soldier and shrink wrap for now. Pick one up from a boneyard (any kind of car) when ya get a chance. this is the wire connector from the O2 sensor to the car harness...Yes?

No. I need the connector on the car harness...
It seems that the connector had gotten brittle and basically crumbled into little pieces. I dont mind picking up a new 02 sensor, but i have nothing to connect it to... Any suggestions?

if you can't locate a connector you can always attach them using spade connectors crimped on each side of the wires. Do you have a 3 wire O2 sensor? 2 White and a black? Just need to find which is the black and the other 2 whites can go on the other 2 wires. If you go this route you will need the spade connectors to have the plastic covers over them as to isolate them from the other wires. Not factory but it will work.
