Rear hatch noise
I have a creeking sound coming from the rear hatch (or at least I believe the read hatch). The gasket is in great shape. The only thing I can think of is the 2 pins. Can I adjust the pins so the hatch does not close so tightly, but still engages the lock and keeps water out?
Any help is appreciated. |

I'm sure your hatch has what we all call as delamination or seperation of the top of the glass from the frame. That sucks. My car has it, and I resealed it with window weld it held for 6 months then pop it did it again. Sucks.

![]() That is my idea to fix the issue without having to tear down the entire hatch. Basically attach the trim piece with window weld so that the glass is held in place. Not sure if that will help or not. Need to make sure that your frame isn't bent. |

Not always
The rubbers in the latch pin retainers wear out and the latch pins move in the retainers, too many people say the hatch frames come loose from the glass, not always.
Are your latch pins adjusted right? remembering that everything settles down after awhile. They generally leak when the frame has come away.

Got boost?

My hatch wouldn't open so I pulled the bottom retainers off and found the remains of the original rubber (looked more like greasy goo).
Is there any easy fix for replacing the rubber in the latch pin retainers?
