I got an aftermarket one from the local autoparts store (Lordco) for about $11.
Ended up finding a brand new rebuilt alternator in a totaled 951, and bought that. My initial plan was to rebuild my original one. I never got a chance to put it back together, but the slip rings are pretty worn.... and I can't find the parts. |

kinda off topic i know but.. im going to rebuild my alt... long story short i thought my alternator was bad so i got a rebuilt one.. lasted me 5 years atleast and finally broke down.. and after openign it up.. my original alternator was in better condition... so for 150$ pluss the core of my old one i got an alternator that only had a new voltage regulator and some cheap bearings. and the spot were the voltage reg brushed touch the alternator was very worn too.... btw you can rebuild the voltage reg too with new brushes and springs FYI.. i just dotn know were to buy them.
