I found problem with The Hinge on the Hatch

Today, I was trying to fix the drain tubes and I noticed that one of the pins holding the hatch on the hinge was coming out. Also, I noticed that the Glass itself is coming undone from the frame in some spots. Thus, I have a couple of questions.

A. Is this a common problem with 944's?

B. How do you replace the hinge if it brakes?

C. How do you fix the Glass separation?

Please see the pictures I have on this.

Mine almost came out.
Check your hatch hinge pins!

For the glass separation, if it's not very bad you're probably best off with a easy fix on injecting some RTV silicone in the gap to seal out air/noise/water, since it's a big pain to reseal it, and lots of guys end up breaking the glass.

Do a search for hatch glass separation. Lots of people have the problem with glass separating from the frame.
I had one of mine done at a glass repair shop. It really looks good now. I need to do another one, may try it myself.

Getting ready to pull the hatch for resealing the glass to the frame. I'll check the pins when I do. Good heads-up info nonetheless.

Some people try to turn back their "odometers." Not me. I want people to know 'why' I look this way. I've traveled a long way and some of the roads weren't paved.

Took the Hatch off

Ok, Today I took the Hatch off so I can fix the hinge problem. I can't believe that I was driving the car with the Hinge like this. It could have flown off on me and hit someone.

I do have a question. While I have the hatch off, How does the Frame come off. I want to fix the detachment of the glass while I am it. Is is glued, Can I buy a new Frame for it?
