The crest is held in by two "speed nuts".
If you can reach it, raise the headlights, and snake your arm through the opening and unscrew the nuts - at this point the crest pops right off. reverse the procedure to install the new one. My hands/arms are too big, I had my 10 year old do it. (you can probably bribe a neighbor kid to do it for you) Optionally, you can remove the nose panel and install it - but that is a big PITA in my opinion AFJuvat |

I have an 86-951 and my crest did not have nuts. It was a pressure type fitting. I have used a putty knife (very careful) and/or removing the nose panel. (2-bolts, 4-Nuts, 6-screws) but when taking it off it might be wise to tape off your bumber. The bat wings tend to scratch a little when pulling it out.
