Shell stripping

Hi all,

I am part way through the build of a rally car (non Porsche), and have spent far too long scrapping body deadener, paint etc in order to prep the shell.

When this car is finished, I have a 944S to build into a tarmac rally/track car and I am not keen to repeat the process.

Is there anyone in here with experience in having their shell dipped? ( Sodium hydroxide is one system we have here)

Pros/cons, anything to watch out for?

Cheers

Greg

No experience with dipping but i wouldn't do it to a 944 because it might eat away the zinc coating and you don't want that.
Saw this a few weeks back Graveyard Carz ,very good info on dipping
