broke my O2 sensor wiring
I am trying to figure out my no start problem, and while I was trying to take my speed/ reference sensors out along with the bracket i broke my O2 wiring. I broke it on the harness side, not the side sensor side where Id just get a replacement sensore. Took the sensor out last when I did my clutch job a few months ago, and the plastic connections were very brittle on both ends (yellow). The connections actually did break and crumble some. Didn't tend to the matter because I was focused on getting the sensor bracket out at the time, and didn't pay attention to the O2 wiring after I noticed that I broke it. Forget how it was connected, I think it was soldered, or can I just splice the wiring someway. A car will start w/o the O2 sensor connected correct? I do need a new O2 sensor, but cant get it out.

Open Loop means the engine will run richer, less MPG.

O2 Sensor
I've got an extra new Bosch universal sensor if you want it. I am too chicken poop to splice it. There is bound to be a thread on how to do it.

Hi Kidd, On the Universal o2 wires never solder the wires together, slide on shrink wrap prior to crimping the Butt Joint connector. Heat the Shrink Wrap so you will have an Air Tight Connection. Another joint connection is shown in the link below.
