Does anyone know these codes
Hey guys,
I searched online for these codes and I couldn't find anything. Any help in decoding them would be appreciated! ![]()

Visit your dealer with your vin and they'll pull the full options for your car.

C36 means it was made for the Canadian market. Country codes are usually listed first and all start with C plus two digits.
E10 appears to be a group option. A few options clustered together at the factory. See this link. It pertains to the 993 but indicates it's difficult to nail down exactly what it is by year and model. All of the EXX codes appear to deal with interior. option

Welcome. Interesting the country is listed as Canada but it's a US spec.
I had the impression that they built them for "markets" and the C02 (rest of USA) would have covered Canadian deliveries. (C03 is Cali). I just did a google scrub-down for a guy in Japan that was missing a country code. Never figured out why. Porsche Country Codes

Be careful with the dealer and even Porsche. The problem is that Porsche re-uses option codes. When they print up a description today it translates to the last usage of the code which is not necessarily correct for your specific earlier model. I have seen Porsche certficates of authenticity that are incorrect for this very reason. It is best to find a source that knows the period of your car.

C36 canadian emissions of course. There was also a standard canadian package which included heated seats and headlight washers. The kilo speedo and cabriolets got a rear seat with lap belt where the US cars got a double glove box unit in the rear. The final North American 968 produced by Porsche was a coupe and it went to Canada. |

In 83 the 944 wasn't available on the Canadian market,we only got them in 84.Mine was a very early 83 US model which was brougth up from Florida to Moncton here. That how I got hold of it,in order to buy it from the seller he had to have two citizenship & home both in Canada & the US.The car had a little over 5K miles on it,practically new and never regret buying I still had it until I bougth my 968 about four years ago.Jeff description of a 968 CDN model is rigth on.
