Hiya guys,
I am trying to fix an issue with my radiator fan on a 1981 Porsche 924. As it stands the fan currently kicks in at the right temperature but refuses to turn off, when the ignition is turned off the fan spins slighly slower but continues to spin up-to 20 minutes after the car has been sat still. I have replaced the sensor on the radiator with a new one but the same issue. I have also bled the coolant. After running the engine till it gets upto temp then turning the engine off if I touch the sensor after a while with my hand it still remains extremely hot? I have checked all the fuses and wiring and everything seems to be in order. Currently I have hooked up a switch to override the fan but would obviously like to get it working as intended. If you guys have any ideas please let me know! Thanks have a great day. |

The radiator fan relay comes in different temps.
If your car is not overheating, try using a lower or higher radiator temperature fan switch. Try your local FLAPS J_AZ
