starter issue - no noise

I just tried to start my car, and luckily I was on a hill, because when I turn the key there is nothing. Nothing at all. Seems to have lots of power, windows roll up and down fast and easy.

Dead.....solenoid? starter? contact?

Thanks.

Possible starter, ignition switch, loose connection on starter, battery voltage low (even thought windows work, low draw item). Put a volt meter on the battery and check the connections.

Some people try to turn back their "odometers." Not me. I want people to know 'why' I look this way. I've traveled a long way and some of the roads weren't paved.

As mytrpl has mentioned, your battery might be weak, have it tested at your flaps(friendly local auto parts store) and go from there. If the battery is strong go here ----> remove starter, bench test it. Clean your grounds also, bad grounds cause multiple(no start, hard start, funky gauge readings, aka electrical gremlins) on our 25+ year old car's wiring.

Weak battery replace and see if that fixed it.

And it started up again last night after sitting for half an hour, no issues. Started again this morning, no issue. Weird.

So, your battery sounds fine, clean your grounds, free and easy to do, minus the bellhousing grounds.

Let us know your results when you have free time.
