Another temp. question!

What exactly is the proper coolent operating temp. for an 86 N/A

I know not to trust the gauge as it's just a couple of hash marks. so If anyone knows the actual reccommended op temp, please let me know.

Correct engine operating temp range is between 40 & 105 degrees centigrade.

Damn! You guys are brutal! Ok ok I guess I deserved that! So let me get this straight. It's somewhere between 32f and the melting point of aluminum?

I just hope none of you ever need help with your Subaru WRX!!!!

TODWIC - Hey man, thanks for the link to "what the gauges mean". I've been wondering what the hash marks mean---this is good information. Thanks again!

heheh actually the temp range I gave you is taken directly off of the temp gauge.

The engine needs to be at least 40 C for a temp to start registering on the gauge.
