Can anyone tell me where the Temp II Sensor is located on my 1981 928S (Euro)?
![]() I've already managed to find the Thermo Time Switch and replaced that, but it's still not running right. ![]() Any help greatly appreciated. ![]() Dan: |

Don't know about a Euro, because it may not have the smog devices of a US, but on the mid 1980's cars, the Thermo Time Switch is located (if you print your photo and draw an "X" through the photo image) to the left of the center of the "X" a few inches in reality, and the Temp II sensor is located a few inches to the right of the "X" a few inches. They are both up front on the motor, in the water flow system, hooked to the coolant loop.
Someone with a EURO needs to verify if your EURO even has a Thermo Time Switch. Good luck. P

After discussing the matter with the PP after sales team, it would seem that the Euro spec 928 doesn't have a Temp II sensor, though it does have the Thermo Time Switch.
Thanks anyway P. Dan |
