workshop manual

I'm contemplating the purchase of an '81 928 (am i nuts or what?)and was wondering if anyone has found a decent shop manual on CD...I've got my eye one set of factory manuals on ebay but I'm already finding there is just not the .pdf version available on the internet like for the 944...my experience with many CD manuals is that they are just junk..anyone found a decent one? thanks

$82 bucks and 7 CD's including the FWM's, PET, and the technical service bulletins

Jim ships them out real quick. Excellent buy and must have for all 928 owners regardless of mechanical skills....

I down loaded one for about $17 and it seemed pretty good.

I once bought a Ford manual on Cd, after about 4 years I can't read the darn thing. It was an original CD. I have also noticed on other CD's some go bad after a few years. If it's a copy just be warned!

************ are hosting the pdf of the manuals on their web site for free.

BTW I have the "official" Ford CD for my 1999 Lincoln, and I also have the two big city phone book sized paper manuals, no comparison, and no clue what those CDs were really for.

Well, all info was on my CD's ( as in Compact Disk) believe me! You can store a lot of info on CD and have the ability to search much easier, so it is really the best, if the CD does not lose it's data which they do! Cd's are not for ever believe me! Maybe not even for 10 years! And finally I hate all this "BTW" text messaging stuff. Knock it off! Does BTW mean "Before The World" or something??? We are doomed! Sorry, I am 66 and I see the demise of this Country, especially now more than ever!
