Speedometer and Odometer
I know this is a dumb question, but here it goes. If the Odometer doesn't work (broken gear), does this affect the Speedometer?

the odo problem is typically the plastic gear (s), the speedo problem is typically electrical contacts (grounds, connections at the rear tub area, etc) --Russ
