Did a shop replace that WP? If so, I would get them to fix it. If not, report back.

They cant fix it, they don't know much about electrical problems. really would like to know why radio stops working when can runs, speedometer does not work when this happens. When the car runs and radio operates the speedometer works.
Checking plug wire connections first, against distributors delivery diagram hopefully this will fix rough engine.

Ok, car goes in for a water pump running fine and comes back "not" running fine. It sounds like something they did in order for it to change how it runs and now you have electrical issues.

Lets make sure we got this straight. Did "any" of your current issues exist "before" you got the water pump replaced? If not, the issue would have to be in the area they were working.

Did they just replace the WP or did they change out the TB as well?

Need more detailed info.

Sorry, talking Morse code again. TB=Timing Belt

Ok, so it's not timing then. I think your on the right track by verifying the plug wires are on correctly. Verify and report back. Also, check your vacuum lines. They could have been brittle and bumped and now have a vac leak. Or they were removed and not put back on correctly. You also have a MAF (or something similar), they can also have issues and run rough, this could also be related to your electrical since the MAF is electrical. Just throwing things out there.

As far as the electrical, I know nada about the later models, but I am sure Alan can chime in and figure your electrical out.

Plug wires may be crossed, or one coil wire not connected. Changing the water pump but not putting a new timing belt on at the same time is a crime, by the way.

Th eradio not working could be cased by bad/disturbed connections at the 14-pin connector, right front fender edge by the jump post. Do your fog lights work? If tey failed at the same time, it can be traced to X relay and the circuit through that connector to the starter solenoid.

Piece of advice: Make darn sure that any shop you use is familiar with the 928 before they start 'learning' on yours. Ask to SEE the timing belt tensioning tool they uied when they did your water pump replace. Porsche 4501 or the aftermarket Kempf tool only. If they used a 'cricket' type or just tightened it extra "until the light went out", I can tell you now why you needed a water pump and that you will need another belt. This is not a car that rewards inexperience or carelessness.

+1 on Dr Bob, find a real 928 mechanic and have everything they touched inspected.

I would at the very least have the belt inspected by someone that knows the 928.
As Dr Bob suggested the 9201 tool is the Porsche tool and kempf tool will also work.
The tension should be checked as well as the condition of the belt.
Remove the right top timing cover to inspect it.
If the shop only replaced the water pump and not the timing belt dont go there again, your asking for trouble and you may already be in too deep
