Main vent switch question

Hi Guys

I have attached 2 pictures with the "main vent switch" that I have.
I was wondering how this switch should look like since mine is broken...

There are actually 2 and they do work. I was wondering if I can press on both of them or only one at a time? I just dont know what should happen...
I can build some small metal device that will enable the plastic lever to press on those switches..

Thanks!

I have the same switch in mine and it boggled me for months. I think you can just flip the switch up so the lever catches it. Try it and report back.

I think that there is something missing there so the lever itself cant put pressure on those 2 micro switches...can the both micro switches be pressed in the same time? or only one at a time?

flip the switch up and on the inside of the lever. You'll see what I mean once you do it. Lever will then make contact. Kinda brushes the top of it.

OK, so it was not possible to lift the switch since it has predefined place and it cant go up towards the lever.
I have disassembled this switch from its place and then I noticed that something was missing since it had small holes for a missing shaft that probably was connected to some metal piece that pressed on the 2 micro switches...

I then created a "V" shaped metal strip and using a thin metal pin I have created a shaft and combined them together.

I put everything to its place and here is the result:

Now the lever brushes that metal strip and activates the 2 micro switches one by one
