Vacuum Limiter (Decel Valve) Vac Route?

I just installed the missing Decel Valve on my 928S. Is the vacuum route connected to the Fuel Regulator?

I was looking at the vacume diagrams. I don't see a decel valve or anything like it on AFC controlled injection. I see one on the CIS but not the AFC

I think I found it on Pelicans PET. Looks like it connects to a T which is connected to another T on the Drivers side vac tube on rear of throttle body.

Does this look correct?

I didn't look at that year but..that's exactly what it does on CIS so it's right. I took mine out, it made a horrible whistle (the diaphragm was broken). The rpm's come straight down now and don't hesitate upon closed throttle and if I am fully closed and go to wide open with out cracking the throttle a tad it pulses a few times as it accelerates

Hi Pete,

Yeah, this one came from 928 Intl as a used part. I made sure to do a vac test on it first before installing it. Yes, I have one on my CIS too, it also had a bad diaphragm, so I got one from 928 Intl as well.

I got the diagram from the 1983 - 86 pdf.
