Just installed the "new" injectors on the rails....
....gonna install the rails in the morning. Hopefully I'll see a nice improvement in overall smoothness, maybe a little more power and efficiency.

Could you imagine the pantera painted the color of MP Dano's early 928.

The Pantera was a nice car and I am sorry I sold my Yellow 1974 Pantera L. They go for pretty good money today. They did not come with a rear spoiler unless this was a later one made after Ford stopped making them. I don't think it handled as well as the 928S. Body by Ghia, 351 Cleveland, 5 speed ZF, mid engine. Assembled in Italy and sold by Lincoln-Mercury, sticker price was around $14K. They were not undercoated and had major rust problems. Wheel bearings, brakes were insufficient. Car had over heating problems. A great looking car!

Just got the car back together. It's running a little bit smoother, but there's still some roughness. I guess I'll have a look at the ancient plug wires next.

Neat! However, that Pantera was not a stock car. First of all, they never came with a convert/sun roof. I am talking about the original ones made from 1970-74. Someone did buy out the remaining parts after Ford quit selling them. Originals came with a 351 Cleveland, single 4 barrel carb. I would like to see that race on a road course, not drag strip. True test of a sports car. If you want to go fast in a straight line, go 426 Hemi Cuda, but it will be off in a ditch on a road course. Different strokes for different folks. Having owned both cars, in my opinion the 928S will out perform any (stock) Pantera circa 1970-74. I have no idea what was in the later ones not made by Ford. As I said, I am sorry I sold my 74 Pantera if only for increased value. It was fun to drive as well!
