NEED 928 instrument cluster

Hello,

I am still looking for a early 928 instrument cluster for my 1980, manual transmission 928.

I have a few 1983 instrument clusters but they do not work .

Let me know if you have something that may work.

Do you know what year well work ? was wondering that Issue also for a 1980 year model ?

I belive 1979 is a different spedo > cable drive

Well, so far, I am very surprised at how many times Porsche changed the instrument cluster on these car just enough to where you cant interchange them with many other years.

I was offered a 1978 EURO cluster, that would not work because it is only a 2 plug unit and a 1980 is 3 plug.

My 1983 unit will not work because they have 14pin plugs and 1980 has only 12.

I was offered a 1982 cluster but that also would not work, it was the same part # as the 1983 cluster.


So it looks like only 1979- 80 -81 will work . I will know more once I get a chance to look at them .
