Sweet thank you! doesn't 0-62 in 8.5 seconds seem really slow?

Sell. Get something modern and less iconic if you intend to thrash it.

3 Speed Trannys are dogs off the start too. I know, my Euro has one. I have a 4 speed that I am thinking of transplanting but looking at the pieces that I will need.

Just kind of surprised that it does 0-62 in 8.5 sec, doesn't every car do that? I still love my 928 though hah..

All of the AT are dogs off the line, if you want to scoot, you need a 5 spd and clutch.

To make them take off a "little" faster, put your left foot on the brake, and a couple seconds before you want to take off, bring the rpm up close to stall (1500 rpm or so), then floor the accelerator as you release the brake.

Serious answer on making the early car faster is consider a later model that is faster, eventually you will have the same money in it, and it will be a nice newer model instead of a modified old one.

Owning a 928 is risky business - but sometimes you just gotta say "what the fudge".
