It's alive!But has some issues..

Well I started the 928 up yesterday for the first time in three years!!!...
I now have the following issues:
1. check engine light is on? I guess I have to take this to the dealer?
2. fuel leaking at one of the injectors? easy fix but I now have to pull the rail.
3. flappy valve not working...I checked this with a vacuum pump so I assume it is the solenoid.
4.and most important...it is overheating...I of course have put a new radiator in it and it has been setting for 3 years so I assume I have air in the system..how will I purge this or could the thermostat be sticking..the top hose is hot but the bottom hose is cold...is air in the system a common problem with drained blocks/radiators on these cars? The fans are working a they should..I have yet to drive the car..the oil looks good and there are no coolant leaks?

You probably answered your question about the hot/cold hoses. Replace the Thermostat and seal. Replace the Injector seals or the single injector if it's not leaking from the seal area. Check light can multitude of things. From low brake pads to low coolant level. Not sure about the flappy valve and I think your talking about the MAF (whatever it's called), but there are write ups on how to check and also places you can send it to.

Put the Year Model in your Signature.

flappy valve

By flappy valve I mean the butterfly in the intake manifold... I think my problem is with the solenoid but I have to check for voltage..I know I have vacuum to the unit but I am not using the original solenoid...I think my overheating problem is just a lack of coolant..I only put in 2 gallons of mix assuming I had some coolant still in the block but I may have been wrong?
