Engine Lubrication System
Please help me with this.
This is part #45 on the exploded view. The Safety valve piston. ![]() The seal is split. The gasket set does not have a new one and I cant find it on the internet part pages. It looks like its made of hard plastic, the cross section is thin and rectangular. I dont think its a o ring, there is not room for one. Can you help me find a new one? Part#? ![]() Also I my engine does not have parts #35, 36, 37 or 40, 41 I assume its because I dont have an oil cooler, 46 and 48 are blocked off. Just checking no modifications have been made by a PO. Thanks, Dave |

Lots of lookers but no answer.
Did I ask a stupid question? Or did I stump the panel? ( I dont think so) Im thinking now that the seal is molded on the plunger? Anyone with a part number? Should I just put it back as is and pray? If I turn one on a lathe what type of plastic should I use ? Acetal, Nylon? Lots of questions, please help me with an answer. Dave |
