whats missing?

I believe these brackets are missing something....There is (1) on the back of each head...I believe the aire filter box screws thread into something that is supposed to sit in these "slots"...if someone can get me a part number, or have some to send...please let me know...thanks!

I have it....it is at my shop....I am building a new house & workshop, and am in a rental, about 8 miles away....thought someone might know off the cuff... I'm in no hurry, just thought about it, and posted...

nope, nothing seems to be missing. The towers are the same and interchangable.

ok, so in the corners of my airbox, there is a bolt held in by a circlip, they seem to line up with these "slots", and screw into nothing...what do they screw into?

The 1978 models may be different, but the '84 uses rubber mounts with a long stud on the bottom. They screw in place of the two rearmost bolts that hold the spider intake in place on the left and right sides of the engine (see picture).

They are pricey iirc.. might want to take advantage of 928 Int 1/2 off sale of used parts
