Heater control problem

Hi Guys,

It starting to get cold and I have noticed that the heater doesnt work...
I checked the heater valve and it looks fine. It closes when I start the car but it doesnt open when I turn on the A/C or just move the slider to "Eco" like it did before.
I have disconnected the vacuum line to the heater valve but although hot water are now flowing in, there is no heat coming out of the vents

It seems that this problem divides into 2 parts:
1. Heater valve not opened (valve checked to be fine)
2. Internal heater flap probably closed so the hot air is not coming out of the vents.

Is this a familiar problem?
What can I do in order to check / fix this issue?

Thanks for your help!
