Just curious?

I think either the OP or the mods deleted the thread. I was looking for it too, some good info in there. Maybe the mods deleted it because we were talking about products from other suppliers? I'd hate if its come to that, I would honestly take my money elsewhere if that's the case. 944online did the same thing, and guess what? Never got a dollar of mine again.

Strange. I posted a reply yesterday asking what was so bad about the dash mat covers as I was thinking of getting one to protect a perfect dash from sun/heat.
Left for a dentist appoint and while I was getting numbed up I scanned the thread with my phone. MPDANO responded about a nice leather mat but my phone didn't show a picture or link. When I got home and checked, it all disappeared.

I bought a "Dash Mat" for my 928.
My original dash is toast...So the previous owner had installed a new dash-cap (the plastic one), and it looks "ok", but, it's not great (a little warped from Sun damage) so, I just decided to put a dash mat over it, to keep it from getting worse. And, the mat looks decent, so, I keep it on. And for under $50, I feel it was well worth it. Would like to see if I can find a leather one...probably look much better.

The new user was real combative. He would fit perfectly over on the Bannlist
![]() Anyways, here is the leather cover link for ya. Jageng calls is a Dash Blanket. Jager Engineering - Garage9 ![]() My take on that thread is that you really need to remove the dash and put another cover over it, prepping it of course. Rob Budd has a reasonable cost one. The dash removal process is not the funnest job to do, so why not do it right the first time. Porsche Leather Dash Cover 928

I'd deal with more cracks than the grand canyon before I'd use that atrocious dash mat or any other I've ever seen. Especially those loose edges my god that looks awful. No offense to the posters above, one mans trash etc.
