Got the new motor and everything working. It only seems to work on high speed though. I think the resistor is bad. Where did you guys buy new ones

Think I had the hood too far forwards when I closed it. It seems to pop once and lift up a little but I can't get it open. Not sure what's holding it

usual places, maybe a thread on how to clean or fix old ones. I recall it takes long skinny strong fingers to get the resistor pack in/out.

Okay got the hood back on. Blower motor seems to work alright. Not as fast as I thought but gets air moving. Resistor doesn't work though. Not a major concern right now. The speedometer is still not working. I cleaned up the 4 pin connector by the spare tire and the sensor on the differential. Shuts off at 25, i imagine the speedometer is the reason the cruise control doesn't work.or is the cruise control known for failure on this car?? Other than that, everything is doing much better besides the issue where it starts better cold than warm.

I'm strongly considering taking the pod apart again. Does anyone know if speedometer controls cruise control?

It's been awhile since I messed with my Euros CC. Mine didn't have the canister in the wheelwell as well as the cable that feeds to the throttle arm and the proper signal stalk. I bought those and hooked it up. The computer located in the center console rear I believe had weak solder joints so RJM65 used his magic to reflow the solder joints. I actually got mine to work pretty good until it did a runaway Prius on me. The story is on here somewhere.

It could have been me but not sure, but the throttle got stuck as I did a 928 pedal stomp on a freeway onramp and it kept accelerating without my foot on the pedal.

Long story short, yes the speedo ties into that whole CC circuit.

Speedo and CC share the same input signal, but broken speedo won't have any effect on CC AFAIK. If both don't work, I would suspect something in the signal chain isn't working.

It got so cold and icy the fresh air fan froze up a little bit. Blew the fuse. Got it working again. It docent seem to move air as well as you guys said. Seems to blow pretty fast but the air doesn't come into the car very well. Center dash vent doesn't open either.

There a few vacuum operated actuator valves in the vent system. Known cause is diaphragms go bad. Or the solenoid that controls the flow is faulty too.

Check this write up as it explains the system very well.

Blowing a fuse is a strong case for something is wrong. Things with enough increase in viscosity to cause drag from the cold tend to warm themselves up very quickly, so doubting cold is the issue.
