Rattleing Noise

I have a rattleing noise on my 951. It's coming from under the middle of the car. I think it might be the Cat. Converter but not sure. It seems to almost go away when I let off the gas. What do ya'll think before I take it off.

Are you sure it's not the trans? Mine rattles but if you put in the clutch it stops. Just something to try. Hopefully it is just the heat shield

I don't think its the trans, It's comeing from the middle of the car. Also I just changed my trans oil and it looked good with no shavings or chunks in it. I have an 87 na that was my sons before he went off to LSU. I knocked the guts out of the cat on it. I think I will swap them out and see if it stops. I also have to steal the drivers side door handle off of it too. Mine broke last week and I refuse to pay $200.00 for a new one.

I know what you mean...rattleing annoyes the *?!! out of me. The first rattle i heard was the heat shield on the y pipe below the engine...that one rattles at idle.

I like you have a new rattle and its eminating from my muffler...not when cold only when hot. Anyone know why it would be doing this???!

Thanks
