I've got procedure that doubles spring-pressure in WG diaphragm. Simpler than using boost-solenoid in push/pull config with connection to vacuum-source (canister by battery). You'll need to use aftermarket EBC or manual-controller to manage boost. Otherwise you'll be getting +30psi boost with factory CV. Need to source spring from Century Spring. Used to be able to buy spring at Orchard Supply Hardware, but they've been taken over and shut down.
Lemme see if I can dig up some photos. Takes about 30-minutes to do. Last edited by DannoXYZ; 01-04-2020 at 08:43 AM.. |

Didn't have a way to apply pressure to the WG line so I tried applying vacuum. At 20in Hg it took about 10 minutes for the pressure to drop to 17in Hg. Doesn't seem to me that the diaphragm has a tear or is leaking. Not sure if it makes a difference if pressure or vacuum is applied to check the diaphragm.

Well finally sealed up my test rig so that there were finally no more damn air bubbles coming out anywhere. It’s been holding about 9.5 psi for 10 minutes. So I guess there is NOT a a tear in the diaphragm.

Ran without the CAT pipe, no muffler no CAT! No improvement in boost at all I'd say even a slight decrease!!! UNCLE!!! hahaha
