Hub nut difference…help needed

Looking at replacing the nuts on my rear 964 c2 drivelines, as they are single use. The ones I’m finding are of a castle nut style and are much less substantial that the ones that cam off. Are the ones I have still available anywhere?…furthermore, does it matter? I was looking at it from the standpoint of having to put 339# on a shorter shank.

Any insight would be appreciated. Thanks

FYI. I reused those axle nuts several times on my 964 cup and 964 race car over 14 years of club racing. Torqued to spec and never had one come loose. the part listed above(999-090-008-02) looks like a thinner version .
