Alarm 964 turbo startermotor problem
I have had a long time problem that startermotor
don’t pull all times. I have previously changed ignition switch and startermotor. on a 964 turbo the cable goes straight no relay according to wire diagram. anyone know it’s way and we’re the split at the Porsche alarm could be? ![]() |

Today my 964 but start the emergency lights and not start !!!
Last days when I open with the key times not open the other door ….. and when I input the key on the starter I see the 4 lights intermitent working ….. I down of the car return close the car …. And return open and is disconnected !!! And the car start without problem …… And today I have the same step problem but never can stop the emergency lights and not start the car ….. I disconnect the battery and always when I return conect start the 4 lights emergency and the car not start engine 🙈🙈🙈🙈 Please I need help for where I can start to repair this problem !!! 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻 |

Do you have an aftermarket or 993 alarm installed> The 964 never had a key fob actuated alarm. That looks like the 993 alarm key fob. If so the 993 units are notorious for acting up this way. The capacitors leak and can create a short that acts like a ghost in the machine. Sometimes it works sometimes not. I would first check to see what you have installed.
